Creative Producer and Dramaturg

Beth Slade is a New York–based creative producer and dramaturg committed to the development of new theatrical work. She partners closely with writers and collaborators to shepherd plays and musicals from early drafts through production, with a focus on bold and inventive storytelling.

She most recently led and her Children, written by Rosie Glen-Lambert and Hailey McAfee, Off-Broadway at SoHo Playhouse as part of the International Fringe Encore Series. Upcoming projects include Bedroom Pop by Abby Rooney, directed by Bibiana Torres, at The Tank in Summer 2026.

In 2025, she was a Producer in the Moxie Incubator, where she developed three new plays over the course of the program, culminating in an Off-Off-Broadway production of 500 Rats: A Love Story by BT Hayes, directed by Em Hausmann. She was also a 2025 CIPA Rising Producer Fellow and a 2026 Producer with The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals cohort.

She has worked in the General Management office at New York City Center for three seasons and currently serves as the General Management Coordinator. During her time there, she has worked on over ten musical revivals. Highlights include Ragtime, Bat Boy, and Titanic.

Her previous roles include Producing, Artistic, General Management, and Script Evaluation positions at The Playwrights Realm, The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, Baseline Theatrical, Turnkey Theatrical, and Manhattan Theatre Club. At Turnkey Theatrical, she supported commercial development workshops and worked on the ticketing team for the 77th Annual Tony Awards.

She works independently as a freelance producer and dramaturg on new plays and musicals.
